On behalf of Squamish Days Loggers Sports Association, we look forward to seeing you at our 65th Anniversary Loggers Sports Show, July 30th & 31st, 2022, and we welcome you back to our regular event format after two years.
Once again we are offering a two-day format with Novice and Intermediate on Saturday, July 30th and Open Competition on Sunday, July 31st, 2022.
The entry form for Novice, Intermediate, Ladies & Open Shows is HERE.
Kindly complete your entry by July 11th, 2022. We do require a minimum of 6 participates to run any event so make sure you sign up!
Just a reminder, ladies can enter ladies, novice, intermediate or open events but can only compete in one class per event.
As in the past, we have complimentary camping spaces available on the grounds (first come-first served). The grounds are equipped with outhouses and a hose-bib water source. Showers are available at the Brennan Park Recreation Center for a small fee.
We are eliminating plastic water bottles this year but will have a filtered water source on site. Please bring a refillable bottle to stay hydrated throughout competition.
There will be a dinner for all competitors, and their immediate family members, shortly after the show on Sunday. The dinner will be held behind the office.
Once again we will be strictly enforcing the rule that only competitors be allowed on the infield for the morning preliminaries and during the show. Anyone entering the infield must either be a member of Squamish Days or have signed a waiver. All family members and non-competitors must be seated in the designated areas.
At registration you will be given passes for each of your immediate family members and a parking pass for your vehicle. Please let the ladies in the office know how many you need. This pass must be carried and shown to our security whenever re entering the grounds (there will be no access to the grounds without this pass).
The Axe Throw Invitational is back, location yet to be determined. Let us know if you’re if you’re up for the challenge as entry is limited and skills are hot! This event is happening Saturday night at 7:00pm!
Our hot saw event this year is Open with no limits on carburetion.
Complete event rules will be emailed upon sign-up.
